  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh sage chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2-3 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth for vegetarian option

Equipment

  • Large skillet

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery, cooking until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes with the cooked vegetables. Stir in the parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Gradually pour in the chicken broth, mixing until the bread is moist but not soggy. Add the beaten eggs and mix well.

Notes

Chef's Tips:
• For a crispier top, broil for the last 5 minutes of baking.
• Avoid overmixing to prevent a dense stuffing.
• Serve with gravy for added flavor and moisture.
Food Safety:
• Ensure the stuffing reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) to kill any harmful bacteria.
• Refrigerate leftovers within two hours of serving.
