Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped parsley, and dried dill until well combined. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season both sides of the salmon with salt and pepper.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional fresh parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
Chef's Tips:
• For a richer flavor, let the garlic butter mixture sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before applying to the salmon.
• Avoid overcooking the salmon to prevent it from becoming dry. Check for doneness early.
• Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Food Safety:
• Ensure salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) to ensure it's fully cooked.
• Store leftovers in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days.
