Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey preferably 93% lean
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs plain or seasoned
  • 1/4 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Using a scoop or spoon, form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the meatballs are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove from the oven and let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
