Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to fit a 9-inch pie dish. Press the pastry into the dish and trim any excess.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until well combined. Stir in the chopped smoked salmon, crumbled goat cheese, dill, and chives.
- Pour the egg mixture into the prepared puff pastry crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow the quiche to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Chef's Tips:
• For a crispier crust, blind bake the puff pastry for 10 minutes before adding the filling
• Avoid overmixing the egg mixture to prevent the quiche from becoming too dense
• Serve with a light salad for a complete meal
Food Safety:
• Ensure the quiche reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) to ensure eggs are fully cooked
• Store leftovers in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days
