  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce such as Sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper or foil
  • Large bowl
  • Small saucepan
  • Serving dish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

  3. Arrange the salmon cubes on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. While the salmon is baking, prepare the hot honey glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until the mixture is well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and transfer the bites to a serving dish. Drizzle the hot honey glaze over the salmon bites and gently toss to coat.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
