Turkey Cranberry Sliders

Ingredients
  

  • 12 sliders mini slider buns Choose soft, fresh buns for the best texture
  • 1 pound cooked turkey Sliced or shredded, leftovers work great
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce Homemade or store-bought, whole berry preferred
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese Cut into quarters to fit sliders
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise For spreading on buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter Melted, for brushing on buns
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds Optional, for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  2. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the buns. Layer the sliced or shredded turkey evenly over the mayonnaise.
  3. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the turkey, spreading it out to cover each slider. Place a quarter slice of Swiss cheese on top of each slider.
  4. Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds if using.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
