Ingredients

  • 1 lb turkey tenderloin Ensure it's fresh or thawed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Meat thermometer
  • Small bowl
  • Measuring spoons

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This temperature ensures even cooking without drying out the tenderloin.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper to create a marinade. Rub this mixture all over the turkey tenderloin, ensuring it's well-coated.
  3. Place the seasoned turkey tenderloin on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This prevents sticking and makes cleanup easier.
  4. Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
  5. Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a moist and flavorful result.

Food Safety:
• Always use a meat thermometer to ensure the turkey reaches a safe internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
